After 46 years the original building at the Natural Bridge known as “Thirst Aid Station” has been completely renovated. The interior was completely gutted to include new state-of-the-art restrooms, a new bar, and new furniture and fixtures in the gift shop and sitting areas.

The look and feel of the exterior of the building has changed to an Aruba country home which is typical of the old style homes on the island. One of the most unique new features are the panoramic views to the ocean and the surrounding hills right from the sitting areas which are created by a series of big glassless windows. The view is second to none. This is also one of the reasons the Natural Bridge is the most unique location for a private event.

Despite the big bridge collapsing ten years ago, hundreds of thousands of tourists visit this iconic attraction every year. Since re-opening the new building visitors and locals have been complimentary of the changes, especially the restrooms and the many photos hanging throughout the building showing Aruba dating back to the fifties. The gift shop offers unique souvenirs and the very popular Biba Dushi line of apparel. The bar includes a wide selection of alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages, snacks and ice cream.
