An in-date passport is required for all visitors to enter Anguilla. All persons traveling to and from Anguilla must clear Customs & Immigration. This can be done at the Blowing Point Ferry Terminal or at Clayton J. Lloyd International Airport.
Anguilla is approximately 16 miles long and you are able to drive from one side of the island to the other. In Anguilla, you are able to rent a car but you’ll need a valid driving license or you are able to purchase a temporary Anguilla driving license.
While on vacation you can also get a taxi to travel around the island. The taxi prices are normally fixed and some taxi drivers may also offer island tours. Anguilla is also serviced by ferries across the island: Ferry Shuttle, GB Express, Link Ferries, Funtime Charters, MV Shauna Ferries, and Calypso Charters.

At your hotel or resort you stay in, you will be able to access free wifi. Many cafes and restaurants will also offer free wifi when you’re enjoying your meal such as Cafe Veya or Smokey’s & Roy’s. You can also visit the local library and pay for wifi on your stay which may be $2 for 30 minutes. There is also free wifi on the Shoal East Bay.

Hotels and service change will add an extra 10%-20% to your bill but you’re able to give an extra tip to hotel maids, beach boys, and porters. There is only one hospital in Anguilla, Princess Alexandra Hospital (telephone: 264-497-2551) which offers a full range of medical care and treatments. The emergency room is open 24 hours a day. Anguilla also has a couple of clinics with specialist support such as cardiologists, urologists, etc. There are also two private medical facilities in Anguilla; Hughes Medical Center (264-497-3053) and Atlantic Star Center.
