Papi Sorrelis

Papi Sorrelis is back in St. Maarten to perform at The Red Piano at the Simpson Bay Resort & Marina, Simpson Bay, St. Maarten.  He’ll be performing there through October 31.

Papi got his start in the entertainment business as a stand-up comedian. While comedy is his first love, he happened upon a dueling piano concept in Colorado called Rumbay. When he saw the show, he knew it was a fit. The only problem was, he didn’t play piano. He headed off to a Radio Shack where he found a $99 piano. Got a fake book with classic rock songs and a chord book. After spending 30 days straight for 14-16 hours a day, he had 50 songs and again never looked back.

He then went on to create his own brand of dueling piano show called the Big Ivory Ticklers. The concept rampaged piano houses from Texas to Baltimore and everywhere in between. Papi now plays nationwide with some of the best dueling piano players in the world. If not working a piano bar, he is doing company parties, roasts and even some stand-up comedy.

Papi has taken experiences in his life and morphed them together to become a multi-dimensional entertainer. His show is genuine, and his act is energetically hilarious!

Catch his show Tuesdays through Sundays from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. at The Red Piano.
