Places to eat on St. Maarten – Bikini Beach tapas bar and grill

This week, a good friend checked out one of St Maarten’s most popular tapas bar and grills – Bikini Beach in Orient Bay.

The beach-side eatery offers a broad selection of flavorsome dishes from tropical grilled shrimp salad to fresh seafood and Black Angus steaks. I chose the hot and sour shrimp soup, which was crammed with shrimps and fresh veggies with a kick of Thai chilli heat. The soup was so delicious that I put in a second take-out order to bring home with me.  I’m told by the owner Eliza Cohen, that the soup is a winner with locals and visitors alike.
