Swiss Avant Garde watchmaker TAG Heuer and Cayman Islands retailer Kirk Freeport have joined forces to create limited edition timepieces in support of the Guy Harvey Ocean Foundation. An exclusive dinner was hosted this month at Rum Point, Grand Cayman, to reveal their latest collaboration, where 80 lucky guests discovered the second model of the TAG Heuer Cayman Limited edition collection.
The Guy Harvey Ocean Foundation promotes the conservation of our oceans, to help ensure that future generations will enjoy and benefit from a naturally balanced ocean ecosystem. With this collaboration, TAG Heuer together with Kirk Freeport hope to raise awareness of marine environment protection and highlight the important work undertaken by the Guy Harvey Ocean Foundation.
“After a first collaboration in 2014, we are thrilled to team up once again with TAG Heuer and Kirk Freeport for a deeper partnership to spread the word about the importance of protecting the marine environment,” said Guy Harvey.
The TAG Heuer Cayman edition introduces two special watches water-resistant to 200 meters; portions of sales will go to support the GHOF, following on from the $85,486 donated from the first model of these limited edition timepieces
The Formula 1 men’s watch is priced at $1430 and features a Hammerhead shark drawn by Guy Harvey on its blue sunray dial enhanced by a sporty matt blue aluminum bezel.
The Formula 1 lady’s watch is priced at $1600 and features a Guy Harvey drawing of two dolphins on a white mother of pearl dial, surrounded by a steel and white ceramic bezel and bracelet.
Both watches are exclusively available at Kirk Freeport in Grand Cayman kirkfreeport.com
